The Nitrophoska journey started in the late 1960’s when our Founder identified an opportunity to market lime and gypsum to farmers in the greater Western Cape. Subsequently, this led to application and spreading services as part of the offer.
Cropping and farming practises required a tailored solution to provide the required nutrients and Nitrophoska ventured into the distribution of blended fertilisers.
From the 1980’s Nitrophoska offered a complete decentralised service to their clients, which included precision farming, handling, transport, mixing and spreading of lime, gypsum and fertiliser.
